OnaKit Distribution

As part of CNMA’s philanthropic activities for 2018, we had the opportunity to provide Onam Kits to around 25 families in need through an Organization called Solace. Solace is a charitable trust supporting children suffering from long term illnesses. Solace started its operations in 2007 with a dedicated team of trustees and volunteers. Thanks to our donors who helped us support our fundraising efforts.

Our Charitable Activities

We at CNMA believe in the power of people coming together for creating a better life for everyone around us. We value our impact through the number of lives that we can touch through our humble efforts. As part of this, we are planning the below charitable activities both in the US and India.

Lunch Packing for Lake County Haven residents

Lake County Haven is a shelter in Lake County, IL that strives to provide a comprehensive array of services to array of services designed to transition a woman and her children beyond homelessness and towards independent living.

Chicago North Malayalee Association will pack Free Lunches to the residents of Lake County Haven. This will be achieved through the kindness of our sponsors and volunteers who will be putting in their hours to pack the lunches.

Education Support for the Needy Children in India

CNMA will identify an orphanage or children’s home in Kerala, India who is in dire need of educational resources for children. Once the committee agrees upon a suitable non-profit organization that can use the funds for the benefit of children, CNMA will wire the needed amount to the organization account.
